1. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Scalerpedia plans and executes most work in collaboration with multiple vendors,
platforms and production partners. Because of this, refunds are very limited
and only possible in exceptional cases explicitly agreed in writing.
1.1 Refunds Not Provided For
Refunds are generally not applicable in the following cases:
- Custom gifting orders already in production – once printing, engraving or branding is started, materials and labour are already committed.
- Event vendor retainers – blocked dates and vendors (venues, decorators, artists, etc.) are paid in advance and are non-refundable.
- Software subscriptions & tools – including SaaS products, licences, plugins, CRMs and third-party integrations purchased on your behalf.
- Domain, hosting, plugins and similar digital assets – these are billed to us by third-party providers and cannot be refunded once activated.
- Recruitment fees after candidate joining – once a candidate has joined your organisation, recruitment fees are considered earned.
- Digital services already executed – such as campaigns, designs, strategy sessions, content production, or hours already spent by our team.
1.2 Cancellations
If you wish to cancel a project or order, you must:
- Request cancellation in writing – via email or an officially accepted channel.
-
Understand that all completed or committed work will be billed proportionately –
including creative work, coordination time, vendor advances and any non-recoverable costs.
Once an order or project is cancelled, any future restart may be treated as a new engagement
with fresh timelines and commercials.
1.3 Event Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule an event:
- We will try to coordinate with vendors and partners to shift dates, subject to availability.
-
Additional charges may apply from vendors for new dates, extended hours,
change of venue, or any rescheduling penalties.
These extra charges will be communicated in advance wherever possible and must be approved
before proceeding.

4. Delivery & Shipping Policy (Corporate Gifting)
This section applies specifically to corporate gifting orders handled by
Scalerpedia, including customised merchandise, branded gift boxes and bulk gifting.
4.1 Shipping Timelines
Typical dispatch timelines are:
- Standard dispatch: approximately 3–7 working days, depending on product and quantity.
- Customised gifts: approximately 7–20 working days, based on design approval, printing/branding and stock availability.
Exact timelines will be mentioned in your quotation or order confirmation wherever possible.
4.2 Shipping Charges
Unless clearly specified otherwise, shipping and logistics costs are charged separately.
These may depend on:
- Destination city and service type (standard/express).
- Weight, dimensions and number of parcels.
- Any special handling or packaging requirements.
Where shipping is included in the quotation, it will be clearly mentioned as a line item.
4.3 Delays & External Factors
Once dispatch is completed and the shipment is handed over to the courier partner,
delivery time is influenced by factors beyond our direct control.
Scalerpedia is not liable for delays due to:
- Courier or logistics partner issues or operational backlogs.
- Adverse weather conditions affecting transport.
- Festivals, regional holidays or peak season rush.
- Strikes, political disturbances or regulatory checks.
- Sudden inventory shortages or manufacturer delays.
In case of delays, we will coordinate with the courier and keep you informed, but
compensation or refunds are not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing.
